Welcome to ‘TheScarredBlog’ also known as ‘TSB’!
I am beyond grateful to have you here as a reader because this means that the Lord has answered a long awaited prayer of mine. When I was in middle school, I began really thinking about what I wanted to be when I grew up and for some reason the career of being an “influencer” always stood out to me. Fast forward to now, that same career is my dream career. Now, I know that people have their opinions on “influencing” and that is okay because I too have my thoughts, but as far as ‘TheScarredBlog’ is concerned, I am taking on a different approach to being an “influencer”. My goal with this blog when I first had the concept in 2022 was to create a community where those dealing with HS or Hidradenitis Suppurativa could gather to feel safe and share personal stories, but I shortly realized that I did not want to limit my blog only to those with HS. I wanted any and everyone to be able to join in and feel like they are a part of a community of real people going through and overcoming real things. So, I broadened my niche, but that was not enough. After having my blog account on one platform for short of two years with little to no growth, I decided to delete that page/ platform and go back to the drawing board. I began praying to God, asking Him to help me switch my direction so that I can see growth and success. Now, here I am today with a refreshed mind and better ideas than before. I am ready to take on this prosperous journey of creating a blog that is set apart from the rest. The ultimate goals for TSB is to develop a community of warriors from all different walks of life, impact others in powerful ways, and spread the Gospel of Christ all while doing what I love, writing. I am excited for what is to come for and from TSB and I love you all.
